Awards.

In our short time here we are incredibly proud of what we have achieved, not just for the sprinkling of awards we have won, but also for the way we have returned the Gun to some of it's former glory. In this process we have brought together a tight-knit team of people that probably spend more time together than is deemed healthy.

In 2011 we were runners up for 'Best Sunday Lunch' in the national 'Observer Food Awards'.

In 2011  we also won our regional round of ‘Come Dine With Me’ which was a really fun event set up by Marstons with two other pubs.

In 2012 we received ‘Food Destination Pub of The Year' award with Marstons both regionally and nationally.

In 2012 we received a ‘Highly Commended’ award from Marstons as a marker of success for the 2 years we had been at the Gun.

In 2013 we become an approved member of 'The British Real Guide' which supports Help for Heroes.

In 2014 we were awarded a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.

In 2015 we were highly commended- South region - Marston's pub of the year awards - Best Pub Restaurant

In 2019 we received ‘Food Destination Pub of The Year' award with Marstons both regionally and nationally.

Most recently in 2022 We won the Marstons ‘PUB OF THE YEAR’ Venture award for ‘Best Best Entertainment’ & overall ‘Pub of the year’
