Christmas.
As usual, the kitchen team have been working hard to produce a selection of festive food for this years Christmas menu.
Featuring many traditional dishes such as shoulder of lamb and venison and wild mushroom stew (with dumplings!), alongside the all-important turkey, there is a dish for all with vegetarian and fish options also available.
This year we will be crafting our very own mulled wine, and our home-made Christmas pudding is already stewing away!

This year at the Gun we are offering something a little different from our usual New Year's fare:
In our restaurant, we will be hosting an eight-course seafood dinner. We will be taking bookings of 4-6 people and our private dining room will be be available for a group of 12 or more:

Marmalade Fizz.
Bloody Mary Oyster Shot.
Spiced Tuna Carpaccio, Pickled Cucumber, Mild Mustard Dressing.
Seared Scallops, Jerusalem Artichoke Puree, Char-grilled Chicory.
Blowtorched Mackerel Escabeche, Fennel & Apple Salad, Horseradish Cream.
Roasted Monkfish, Clams, Lobster Veloute.
Desserts
Trio of Desserts
Chocolate Bourbon Mousse, Candied Orange, Almond Tuille.
Buttermilk Panna Cotta, Toffee Pear, Hazelnut Crumble.
Ginger Biscuit, Vanilla Cheesecake, Cranberry Compote.
Cheese.
The above is priced at £50 per head. There is a vegetarian option available on request.
Arrival will be approximately 7.30 for an 8 o'clock sit down. After the final course has been devoured you are welcome to join us in the bar which will be open as usual. No ticket will be required for entry into the bar and entertainment will be provided!
